Yaping Zhang earned a Ph.D. in Energy, Environment, and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and later served as a postdoctoral fellow at UC San Diego's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, developing several environmental monitoring technologies and methods. She published over 10 articles with 400+ citations in top journals like Aerosol Science & Technology. She also worked as an engineer at the San Diego Air Pollution Control District, leading various environmental projects. In early 2020, she founded EIPROTECH, advancing automated, intelligent environmental monitoring solutions.
